Silver Shemmings Ash is delighted to announce the arrival of Michael Shapiro and Harriet Butterfield to our team

Michael joins us a Partner in the Property Team with over 35 years’ experience as a commercially focused Property Lawyer working in the City of London, with a broad range of clients, many of whom are long-standing. He acts for property investment and management companies, high net worth individuals and offshore trusts, as well as dealing with the occupational requirements of clients of the firm

He advises on all aspects of commercial property including acquisitions and disposals, lettings, portfolio management and the property side of corporate transactions and is also experienced in residential property matters, especially acting on high value transactions

Harriet joins us as a Consultant Barrister in the Construction Team , she  is a barrister of twenty years call with over fifteen years experience in the construction and engineering sector advising and representing a variety of clients in construction and engineering, energy and utilities on the full breadth of transactional and contentious matters

Her clients in the construction sector include employer and contractor organisations in the residential, commercial and infrastructure sectors. When the need arises, she has extensive experience in all forums of ADR including representing clients in over two hundred and fifty adjudications and three arbitrations
