Tringa Hashani is a Trainee Solicitor in our real estate department. She qualified as a specialist property lawyer in January 2019 after working in real estate law for several years. She is currently undertaking an engineering degree with a practical and legal overview in a bid to develop the planning and environmental area of practice. Sabra Farmand is a Trainee Solicitor at the firm’s construction team. She has extensive experience in litigation and arbitration, working for clients from South America, Middle East and Asia in shipping, oil and gas, construction and commercial law. Having worked at big city firms, Sabra has gained extensive insight into the industry and clients’ requirements. She is currently studying LPC part time at BPP University, has successfully completed the first half of her course and is now moving onto the next stage. She is currently studying International Trade & Transaction, Advanced Commercial Litigation and Insurance Law. Sabra will be writing about her personal experience in law as well as legal updates
Conor Ahern is also a Trainee Solicitor in the construction team. He is also studying LPC at BPP University, having recently completed his GDL at BPP Waterloo. As part of year 1 of the LPC, he will be undertaking the Property, Business Law and Practice and Civil and Criminal Litigation modules. His background is heavily construction focused having been a Quantity Surveyor for 12 years. His blog posts will discuss updates in construction law along with interesting topics covered in the LPC and training seminars
Mohammed Kalam has been working as a fee-earning Paralegal for the last five years acting for housing associations, charities, developers and high net-worth individuals, one of his highlights has been acting for a housing association who instructed him to simultaneously extend 45 leases under the statutory route as tenant
Shriya Chandarana has several years of experience assisting in Construction Law and International Arbitration matters. She has worked both in-house and at a Top 20 City Law firm, assisted on cases relating to NEC, JCT and FIDIC contracts
And finally, Brandon Silver, paralegal in the construction department at Silver Shemmings Ash LLP. He is currently undertaking LPC at BPP Holborn as well, having just completed undergraduate Law degree at Durham University. The modules Brandon is currently studying for the LPC include Business Law and Practice, Civil and Criminal Litigation and Property Law. His blog post will discuss what he has covered during the seminars he has attended and any particular areas that have stood out in relation to the topic.
