Lawrence joins us a Partner in the Construction Team with over 3o years’ experience advising on construction and commercial contracts. He acts for property developers, contractors, funders, consortiums, joint venture partners, and construction professionals on developments and projects for both the public and private sectors in the UK and overseas
He has many years of experience in drafting and negotiating construction contracts, project agreements and the ancillary documentation, such as, parent company guarantees, bonds, opinion letters, and joint venture agreements, required to successfully complete infrastructure and property development projects. He has extensive experience of all the major forms of building and engineering standard form contracts, including, JCT, FIDIC, NEC, ICE, GC/Works, and MF/1. Lawrence’s experience includes advising on infrastructure developments, civil engineering projects and projects in the energy and powers sectors including ECP, BOT and BOOT projects.
