British & Irish Trading Alliance (BITA) – People Who Know People Who Help People

Silver Shemmings Ash are delighted to again be hosting a further series of Seminars in 2020. These events are free to attend, open to all  and are a continuation of a series of seminars, aimed at increasing your knowledge base, improving your work processes, and giving you the tools you need to make your business as efficient and effective as possible. We have had excellent feedback from previous Seminars which we use to build next years topics and format

Our theme for 2020 will be ‘Building A Better Business’, with each Seminar building on this theme and the event timings have been refreshed for 2020 following feedback from you all and will now run as follows:

5.00 – 5.30pm: Registration & Networking

5.30 – 6.00pm: Topic Awareness Session (Henry Hathaway)

6.00 – 6.45pm: Networking Break & Refreshments

6.45 – 7.30pm: Guest Presenter / Ask The Expert Panel

We invite you to join us for networking drinks afterwards!

Dates for next year are as follows:

8th January 2020 – Negotiations: Facing Your Clients & Suppliers

Henry will be looking at how to approach these type of negotiations with confidence, negotiating the right deal with your suppliers doesn’t necessarily mean getting what you want at the cheapest possible price. You may want to negotiate other factors such as delivery times, payment terms or the quality of the goods. Equally negotiating with clients doesn’t have to mean accepting unfavourable terms to win work. We will also be hearing from Will Marshall from Veritas Advisory on this topic

8th April 2020 – Post BREXIT Round Up – Where Are We Now?

8th July 2020 – Growth Planning & Forecasting

7th October 2020 – CIS & Payroll
